The following items are included in my fee:

  • All documentation required for the registration of your marriage:
    • Notice of Intended Marriage
    • Form 14 Statutory Declaration
    • Three (3) certificates of marriage (presentation Marriage Certificate for the couple, Certificate of Marriage Form 16 and Celebrant’s Register of Marriage).
  • PA sound system –
    I provide a PA sound system, connection leads for your music, an additional hand held microphone for your vows, a stand for all readings and wear a Madonna microphone to officiate an audible marriage ceremony.
  • I will assist you in compiling a meaningful ceremony and offer you wedding resources on loan:-
    1. ‘Wedding Ceremony – A Selection of Poems, Readings & Blessings + Symbolic Rituals’
    2. ‘Wedding Ceremony – A Selection of Personal Vows for the Marrying Couple & Exchange of Rings’ together with advice on how you may author your ceremony.
  • In accordance with the Celebrant Code of Practice:
    • I always arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of your marriage ceremony or at a mutually agreed time
    • I dress in accordance with your selected wedding style
    • I respect the privacy and confidentiality of the parties

Legal Requirements

  • In accordance with the Marriage Act 1961, the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be lodged with the Celebrant no less than one calendar month and no more than 18 calendar months prior to the marriage.
  • Evidence of place and date of birth (birth certificates or overseas passports) must be presented to the Celebrant for documentation prior to the marriage.
  • Evidence of the dissolution of a previous marriage (divorce certificates) or death of previous spouse (death certificate) must be presented for documentation to the Celebrant prior to marriage.
  • Identity with photograph must also be sighted by the Celebrant for each party to the marriage (e.g. Driver’s license or Passport or University ID card).
  • Both parties to the marriage must be 18 years of age or older (otherwise consent must be obtained).
  • Two witnesses are required to sign the marriage certificate, they may be related to the couple, or just friends, however, both witnesses must be 18 years of age or older.

Registration of Marriage

Registration of marriage will occur in the Department of Births, Deaths and Marriages, St George’s Terrace, Perth WA. A copy of the registered certificate of marriage is available from the department at a cost of $44 and can be obtained within five working days from the date of your marriage. It is recommended that all couples obtain a registered copy.

There are no hidden costs in my fee.


In the event of changes initiated by the client (i.e. changes to venue, date, time or other details) which the Celebrant cannot accommodate, the Celebrant will endeavour to find a replacement Celebrant. Should cancellation occur the following conditions apply:-

  1. The fee paid under Item 1 is NOT REFUNDABLE.
  2. The balance of fees (Item 2) payable twenty one (21) days prior to the date of the marriage ceremony.
  3. For refund of all other fees to occur, notice of cancellation must be received by the Celebrant not less than six (6) weeks prior to the date of the marriage ceremony.
